VVMC Rally - July 11

Hope you had a chance to make it to the VVMC Rally this past weekend. The show had quite a turnout, I'd say twice as big as it was last time I went. After breakfast Tony and I rolled in about 11:30, and it seemed like we got there just in the nick of time. Before we knew it the street was jammed with riders and their bikes. I love VVMC rallies for the simple fact that they attract a lot of vintage Japanese motorcycles. Don't get me wrong I admire all kinds but I have a soft spot for the vintage Japanese motos. The spectator count seemed a little lower but I'm guessing the world cup had something to do with that. There's tons of pix already surfacing, I have a few pix posted of this show and past shows. For really good pix though check out VVMC's facebook, there's tons posted by fans. If you couldn't make it this time, make it a point for the next one.

Born Free 2010

Proof we were actually there! Thanks to Allen

This weekend was crazy busy but we're glad we had a chance to make it out to Born Free 2! After a quick ride around Downtown Long Beach we arrived around 2pm and by then it was completely jam packed. We couldn't get the bikes in the show so we got stuck behind the Vans truck, no biggie. There was tons to admire, bobbers, choppers, baggers and even cafe racers (not to mention some cute rocker chicks). I will have some pix up shortly but until then check out pix from Yukes at So-So's.

Garage Company - Open House 2010

It's been a long time since I've seen my buddy Kiyo. I knew him way back in the Rudolpho days (old rockabilly club). So much has changed since then, but I'm glad to see that Kiyo and his friends at Garage Company have not. Their passion for motorcycles clearly runs deep in their blood. This past Sunday they shared their passion with us all at their open house. Every inch of the place had some type of motorcycle part or piece of motorcycle history. If you ever have a chance to visit, make sure you look up, down and side to side, cause you might miss something if you don't.
